From elaborate farm-to-table menus to awkward-to-share tapas plates, eating at an expensive restaurant can be a chore and a new video offers a great send-up of the whole process.

The video—"Everything Wrong With Trendy Restaurants"—offers a great deadpan take on ordering at an upscale restaurant, which can sometimes be a tricky feat. Created by the College Humor team, the sketch shows an earnest young couple attempting to navigate the menu at an expensive restaurant with a less-than-helpful waitress. Whether it's "tiny bite-sized amounts of food meant to be shared with eight people" like a dewdrop served on an acorn or a "build your own dish, which is fun...at first," you'll likely find the experience all too familiar.

The parody is loaded with plenty of cringe-worthy moments that you might encounter at a "small plates, family-style" restaurant. From the person who eats more than their share, to the dishes that are actually just huge bowls of sauce that you have to awkwardly pass around or just watch the other person eat, the whole thing kind of makes you want to order in. The list of specials rattled off by the waitress are impossible to keep up with, and don't even think about asking how much a dish costs unless you want the your server to think you're a cheapskate. And if you get thirsty, just remember that "all of our drinks are just classic cocktails with just one weird liquor."

Throughout the video, the couple maintains their composure and big smiles, which is something we hope we'd be able to do the next time we go out to an expensive hotspot.
