Philippe's annual Free Chili Day is upon us tomorrow. For the 6th year in a row, you will be able to grab a free cup of chili with any sandwich.

Philippe's will be handing out free chili vouchers to the first 500 customers that come in tomorrow Tuesday, Jan. 26 at 10:30 a.m. You can redeem it for a cup of chili, with or without beans and topped with shredded cheddar cheese or onions. Customers will also get a raffle ticket to win prizes like a year of free chili. (Like winning the lotto, this sounds like a mixed blessing.)

Dolores Chili, another local family-owned business that has been around for awhile, has been making the chili that is served at Philippe's since the 1970s.
