Irish pub Tom Bergin's is slated to reopen Saturday in its slightly hipsterized new iteration.

The beloved Fairfax Avenue bar surprised many when it shut down last summer. Actor Derek Schrek bought it soon after, and now, after a couple delays and false starts, it will have a soft-open next weekend, the L.A. Times reports.

Among the changes in the new Bergin's: there will be no more bottled beer, but instead a 14-tap system; craft beer will be the new focus of the upstairs bar; and there will be two new chefs, whose names haven't been released.

The Times says the new menu and bar should be in full swing by the end of January.
