This is It: Taco Madness 2012 Down to 2 Finalists!!!
It's all over by dinnertime tomorrow, so if you want to have a say in the final vote of LA Taco's Taco Madness 2012, now is the time. In what the site is calling "a nail biter" semi-final round the last remaining contenders have been named: It's Boyle Heights' Guisados (a "surprise entry into the final round") versus beloved seafood truck Mariscos Jalisco in the end-battle for victory.
Mariscos Jalisco, as LA Taco points out, lost last year's Taco Madness by just a slim margin. This year, the repeat champ Mexicali was taken out in the semifinals by Mariscos Jalisco's final round foe, Guisados.
"Who will be LA’s favorite taco of 2012? Only the taco lovers of Los Angeles can decide…" nudges LA Taco. Voting is on now, and will conclude at 7 p.m. April 3, aka Taco Tuesday.
...and then we eat!
