Taco Madness: Annual Taco-a-Taco Showdown is On!
Forget about March Madness. For L.A.'s taqueria tacomaniacs, March is Taco Madness. It's LA TACO's annual bracketed showdown that pits 32 tacos against one another and at the mercy of the voters (that's you!) to narrow it down to one mighty victor. LA TACO explains that they "used a panel of TACO experts combined with reader submissions to rank the top 32 taco outlets in the city."In the mix are stands, trucks, restaurants, and roving taco stars, representing a variety of ingredients, regions, and styles of Los Angeles' beloved finger food. With round one voting slated to end Tuesday night, the field is about to be halved. Will itinerant Ricky's Fish Tacos knock out Mariscos El Tetos? Can KoggiBBQ's fusion bites beat out Cactus Taqueria? There are some serious loyalties on the line here, and some beloved names in tacos.
Who will emerge the ultimate champ? Just like in college basketball's March Madness, we'll have to see how things play out. But you gotta vote to make your picks count!
