Spendy Silver Lake Hipsters Finally Getting a Whole Foods

Our June member drive is live: protect this resource!
Right now, we need your help during our short June member drive to keep the local news you read here every day going. This has been a challenging year, but with your help, we can get one step closer to closing our budget gap. Today, put a dollar value on the trustworthy reporting you rely on all year long. We can't hold those in power accountable and uplift voices from the community without your partnership.

It's getting real, and it's not a hoax: Silver Lake is getting their very own Whole Foods.

Rejoice, lovers of gourmet cheeses, organic veggies, dietary supplements, and pricy pre-packaged meals and snacks. TheEastsiderLA reports that the chain nicknamed "Whole Paycheck" has confirmed they are moving in at 2520 Glendale Boulevard, in a shopping mall that now has a Ralphs.

Right now, Whole Foods isn't giving up the goods on just when the Silver Lake location will have its olive bar, gluten-free pastries, and abundant Dr. Bronner's soap selection open for public consumption.
