Endive, goat cheese, & persimmon salad with wild arugula and candied pecans from The Mercantile (Lindsay William-Ross/LAist) The return of the popular bi-annual dineLA event was announced last month, and today the names of the 297 participating restaurants in the upcoming "Restaurant Week" have been revealed. Among the melange of family-friendly, fine dining, chain, hotel, casual, lunch-oriented, steakhouses, sushi spots, and romantic restaurants are some of the city's hottest dining destinations.Through tiered options for prix fixe lunches and/or dinners, dineLA's two weeks gives locals and visitors a chance to get to know, or re-visit, restaurants, and help give a little bit of cash to the dining out biz. Of the 297, some LAist favorites are included, like Comme Ca, FIG, Eva, Angeli Caffe, Dominick's, Drago Centro, The Mercantile, The Foundry on Melrose, LA Market, Joe's, Starry Kitchen, Petrossian, Palate Food + Wine, Water Grill, Malo (and Downtown's Mas Malo, opening later this week), and many more. Definitely enough to send you out every day of the run, which is January 23rd to the 28th, and January 30th to February 4th, 2011.
You can use dineLA week to treat yourself to a night at Spago, see the newly-renovated Border Grill in Downtown, or join the paparazzi-ducking fun at Katsuya. Okay, okay, we've made our point. Check out the full list:
