Pop-Up Potato Chip Shop Will Have 'Chips, Crisps & Wafers' From Around the World

In case you are the kind of Angeleno who has visiting Canadian relatives pack bags of Ketchup and Dill Pickle chips in their luggage for you, or your tastebuds wax nostalgic about all the crazy cool chip flavors you spotted on your travels to Asia, you may be interested in a fun pop-up shop debuting this week at iam8bit. Their potato chip pop-up, called "Chips, Crisps & Wafers," will showcase over 50 flavors that reflect the global realm of seasoned, deep fried, and bagged up thinly-sliced potatoes. iam8bit promises a "diverse flavor explosion," that will include potato chips from around the world, from global destinations like Japan, the UK, Australia, Singapore, India, Canada, and even regional flavors from around the U.S. They promise to have those aforementioned Ketchup Chips, and other foreign flavors like Roast Chicken (England) and Wasabi Plum (Japan).
And, of course, since this is a shop, you can buy these treasured bags to take home to snack on or give away as holiday treats.
An opening reception will be held Friday, December 14 (7-11 p.m.) and the shop will be open until December 23.
