Today on Giving Tuesday, we need you.
Dear reader, we're asking you to help us keep local news available for all today on Giving Tuesday. Your financial support keeps our stories free to read, instead of hidden behind paywalls AND will be matched dollar-for-dollar! Let your support for reliable local reporting be amplified by this special matching opportunity. Thank you for investing in your neighborhood.

If you didn't get enough pie over Thanksgiving (who ever does, really?) and you are a beer lover, then you might want to pop over to Eagle Rock Brewery on Sunday for a fun pop up event with I Heart Pies. From Noon-6 p.m. they'll be on site with samples of both sweet and savory tastes of their fresh, locally sourced, organic pies, which you can pair with Eagle Rock's local brews. While you're there, you can sign up for their Pie of the Month Club, too. Now that's really heart-ing pies!

We first took a taste of their flaky crust and tasty fillings at the inaugural Artisanal LA event. And, oh, yes, we heart I Heart Pies' pies. PS, vegans, many of their offerings can be made without animal products for you! [Event info]
