Is Jamie Oliver Opening a Restaurant in Los Angeles?
He's definitely been a fixture on the L.A. food scene for some time now, mostly as an ineffective thorn in the side of the Los Angeles Unified School District, but British chef Jamie Oliver has bigger plans.
Oliver was in town last week to raise money for his Food Foundation endeavors, and he was asked if there was any truth to the rumors he's looking to set up shop here, as in a restaurant. “It’ll happen in the next few years,” he said, according to Eater LA, adding: “It’s quite hard to open a restaurant here for an English boy.”
The "Naked Chef" and "Food Revolution" personality currently operates over a dozen restaurants in the UK.
