Important Sandwich News: ink.sack Adding SUNDAY* Hours, Plus "The Vegetarian" Rocking the Menu
Lunchers, your options are expanding over at ink.sack, Michael Voltaggio's popular SRO sandwich shop a couple of doors down from his celebrated restaurant, ink. Starting Monday, February 13th, ink.sack will have Monday hours, which means ink.sack is serving up inventive and tasty sammiches six days a week (Monday-Saturday) from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. * We've just learned there's been a change of plans! Ink.sack will open for business on Sundays, BUT a start date hasn't been decided yet; we're told in a few weeks.
Plus, veggie lovers, your prayers have been answered. We're told ink.sack has put a concoction called "The Vegetarian" on the menu, and it's already a big hit. This meat-free sandwich has smoked burrata, eggplant, pesto, tomatoes, olives, arugula, and balsamic vinegar.
Specials are shared out via @MVinkLA on Twitter, and if you want to take the edge of your lunchtime wait, you can call your big or small order in ahead to the shop: 323-655-7225.
