Good News for Winos: Starbucks' Trenta Holds a Whole Bottle!
This week, Californians had their first chance to order up an iced tea or coffee at Starbucks and supersize it. The new Trenta cold beverage size, all 31 ounces of liquid insanity (more fluid than the average human stomach can hold), has, however, a great recyclable use: Wine holder. We spotted this pic via PostSecret on Facebook, demonstrating that a Trenta cup can hold a full bottle of wine. With our lovely balmy weather, this means you can re-use your giant iced tea cup like a wino's big gulp, head out for an afternoon in the park or at the beach, and not miss a drop.
Reds may be a tad harder to work with than whites (the disguise factor, and all), but pouring a bottle into the cup will eliminate the need to haul around that weighty bottle and pesky bottle opener. Think of how this could revolutionize your Hollywood Bowl summer concert picnics! Or, like, your Tuesday.
