300 Restaurants Participating in dineLA's 2-Week Event Next Month

Caesar Salad at Waterloo & City, one of 300 restaurants taking part in dineLA Fall 2010 (Lindsay William-Ross/LAist)
Foodies around Los Angeles start to buzz when the biannual dineLA Restaurant Weekannounces its participating restaurants. Today it's officially time to pore over the list and get out the calendars. Now the largest Restaurant Week event in the nation, there are 300 participating restaurants--up from 233 last Winter--that will offer special menus October 3-8 and October 10-15, 2010. Lunches range between $16 and $28 while dinners are from $26 to $44.Diners will be able to sample some of the newcomers to Los Angeles, such as Culina, and Waterloo & City as well as the standards. Some LAist favorites are BLD, Angeli Caffe, Water Grill, Nobu, Ford's Filling Station, Loteria Grill, Fig, Eva, Fraiche, Susan Feniger's STREET, Locanda del Lago, Comme Ca, Josie, Ciudad, Bouchon, and for lunch, Cafe Stella and Bloomingdale’s 59th & Lex Cafe. Check out some of our previous dineLA experiences.
moBistro.com will be listing the restaurants, prices, and menus so diners can make their decisions and reservations easily all in one place. This year participating restaurants located in hotels will also have the opportunity to take advantage of special dineLA hotel rates and culinary packages.
American Express® Cardmembers will be able to register any eligible American Express® Card to receive a $20 statement credit when they dine three or more times during dineLA Restaurant Week at participating restaurants.
dineLA is sponsored by American Express, The Los Angeles Convention and Visitors Bureau, and LA INC. The event aims to promote local businesses and encourage both locals and visitors to explore the city's cuisine, especially in new price ranges and neighborhoods. "“The Los Angeles culinary scene is ever-evolving and dineLA Restaurant Week gives food lovers the opportunity to discover the wealth of culinary talent in Los Angeles at an incredible value,” says Mark Liberman, president and CEO of LA INC.
Participating restaurants will be offering 3-course prix fixe dinners for set prices. Some restaurants also elect to offer a dineLA lunch. Restaurants will be categorized by price as "Deluxe, Premier, and Fine Dining."
