Eye Nosh: Would You Eat Dirt From a Food Truck?

Seems like people these days will eat anything...if it comes on a food truck. A crepe filled with "dirt" is no exception, as LAist Featured Photos pool contributor Joits found out when a buddy ordered up this sweet treat from the Crepes Bonaparte Truck. The truck, an off-shoot of a brick-and-mortar creperie, rolls mostly around the OC. This particular item riffs on a childhood dish where Oreo cookie crumbs look like soil and gummy worms, well, look like worms. Does it taste better--or as good as--it looks? The "dirt" crepe was enjoyed, and the overall experience "was pretty good and the prices were decent too."
