Dunkin' Donuts Opens In Barstow. Next Up? Los Angeles

Donut lovers, rejoice! East Coast coffee and sweets giant Dunkin' Donuts opened in Barstow on Monday, making it the only California store accessible to the average Joe.
While it's technically not the first store to open in California -- a branch of the chain opened on the Camp Pendleton military base in San Diego County last year -- the Barstow Station store in San Bernardino County will feed anyone who is willing to make the trek more than 100 miles northeast of L.A, according to the Los Angeles Times.
The company said earlier this year that it plans to eventually launch as many as 1,000 stores across California. The rollout is starting in San Bernardino, Riverside, Ventura, Orange and Los Angeles counties, Restaurant News reports, with agreements already in place for more than 70 shops set to open come 2015.
