Big things are happening for In-N-Out Burger. First, we found out last year that California's go-to burger fix decided to set up shop in Texas. Amid further expansion rumors, the company went after copycats in Maryland, and one Chinese restaurant tried to knock off our beloved Double-Double, too.

But it appears that In-N-Out actually is going global. On the heels of April's news of a pop-up In-N-Out day in Tokyo, CNN GO is reporting that In-N-Out paid a visit to Singapore yesterday.

The 1-day-only event in the bustling Southeast Asian city-state was intended to run from 11 am to 3 pm yesterday, but hungry Singaporeans began lining up at 9:30 am. The 300 wristbands given out for the event vanished faster than an order of animal fries, gone in just minutes.

Does In-N-Out's Asian success mean we should be expecting locations in Singapore as well as San Antonio? The Irvine-based chain hasn't announced any plans yet. It's more likely that they're trying to defend their turf from newcomer Five Guys.
