Angeli Caffe Extends Final Days, Go Get Your Last Supper (or Lunch)

Angelenos are mourning the impending closure of Evan Kleiman's Angeli Caffe on Melrose, and thanks to the slew of diners eager to get in one--or more--last meal, the restaurant announced today they will take reservations until Friday, January 13.
"Thank You so much for the outpouring of incredible love at the news of our impending closing. It's like being dipped in a pool of sweetness," says Kleiman in an email to friends of the restaurant that's been open for nearly three decades.
Reservations are available for the new last week, and Angeli is also open for lunch, and no reservations are necessary then; lunch hours will be next Tuesday through Friday, 11:30am - 2pm.
