Before you
Dear reader, we're asking you to help us keep local news available for all. Your financial support keeps our stories free to read, instead of hidden behind paywalls. We believe when reliable local reporting is widely available, the entire community benefits. Thank you for investing in your neighborhood.

Last week Tender Greens opened their fourth SoCal location, on Sunset Boulevard near Vine right in the heart of Hollywood. This also happens to be just a hop, skip, and jump from where the bustling Hollywood Farmers' Market takes place each Sunday, and to maximize on the proximity, Executive Chef Fermin Arias has announced he will shop the market each Sunday morning and create same-day specials for diners to enjoy.

Expanding on their core concept of using organic and locally-sourced ingredients, Arias and this newest Tender Greens will use the best of the available seasonal produce for entrees and to flavor their house-made sodas. Entrees will average $10.50 (depending on ingredients) and will be available in the restaurant 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sundays starting March 21.

Tender Greens' farm-to-table market meals will surely give the Farmer's Kitchen, the nearby eatery that opened last October and uses market-supplied ingredients for their menu, some healthy competition. As of the end of last month, Farmer's Kitchen has reduced their operating hours to Sundays-only.
