Greetings from Los Angeles, land of perpetual sunshine, and endless days of lounging by the pool. In the spirit of the pending official launch of summer, we've rounded up some vintage postcards from hotels and motels from once upon a time in L.A.
Some of these places--and their glimmering swimming pools surrounded by beautiful people--are still making a splash (Hollywood Roosevelt, we're looking at you!) but some are just tan-line memories of days and places gone by. C'mon and dive in!
