Weekend Festival Roundup: Burning Man Lite, Arts Fests Abound

We love October because it's the beginning of fall. We hate October because there are entirely too many events to catch. To pace the weekend accordingly, here are just a few of the festivals going on around LA today and tomorrow:
South Pasadena ArtsFest 2009 runs tonight from 5-10 pm with open studios and galleries, live music and great stores and merchants along Mission Street and Meridian Avenue.
City of Santa Clarita Festival of Arts takes place Saturday and Sunday from 10am-9 pm and 10 am-6 pm in Downtown Newhall with chalk artists creating works all weekend.
Burning Man Lite: The Los Angeles Decompression Music and Art Festival at the Cornfield from noon to midnight today. All ages. Live bands, DJ, arts, circus, marching bands etc. $15 if you're in costume. $20 if you're in street wear.
Eagle Rock Music Festival Is a free FREE neighborhood event tonight with more than 40 local and indie acts from all genres of music -- Saturday from 4-11 pm. Free shuttle from Eagle Rock Plaza.
Reyes Adobe Days in Agoura Hills at the Reyes Adobe Park features food, free children's activities, live music, art, petting zoo, pony rides and tours of the Reyes Adobe (the city's first home).
Pasadena Wine Festival is being held today and tomorrow at the LA Arboretum from 4:30-10 pm will focus on California, Spanish and Australian wines. Live music, dancing and bocce ball! Tix: $55-$125.

All Corked Up Wine Festival at College of the Canyons in Santa Clarita features more than 50 wineries and 200 wines from 5-9 pm tonight. Tix at the door: $60. Designated drivers: $30.
West Hollywood Book Fair takes place tomorrow at West Hollywood Park with 15 stages and more than 400 authors and artists, 100+ panels, writing workshops, theater, poetry, storytelling and children's activities.
