Last Wednesday we went to the season 2 premiere event of FX's "Louie" which was held at Caroline's on Broadway in New York City, a comedy club where a lot of the stand-up scenes in "Louie" have been shot over the last 2 seasons. We had a quick word with the show creator, writer, director, producer, editor, and star, Louis C.K. (above) and with other members of the cast below: comedians Robert Kelly and Joe DeRosa, Kelly McCrann, and Deborah LaCoy. There are some amazing guest stars this season that we won't spoil for you but somehow Louis C.K. got them to say and do some absolutely hysterical scenes.

Season 2 of "Louie" premieres this Thursday, June 23, at 10:30pm on FX. Tomorrow season 1 of "Louie" is available on DVD at Amazon and many other places - totally worth the buy as it includes a lot of deleted scenes, commentary, and more of the stand-up action.
