TV Junkie: Jimmy Fallon & 'Chelsea Lately' Are Late Night Best Bets

Big Audio Dynamite is part of tonight's amazing lineup on "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon"

Late night TV tonight has been a pretty darn good so far this week. "Chelsea Lately" has been solid, for example the Emmy-nominated Martha Plimpton of "Raising Hope" was an excellent guest last night, and we've been watching Craig Ferguson hilariously fool around in Paris for the past couple evenings as well. As a Francophile I'd love to keep watching Ferguson but he will be usurped by an incredible line-up on "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon": Jason Bateman guests and he has a lot of rapport with Jimmy, then we have Freida Pinto of Slumdog Millionaire fame, singer Tony Bennett will also be on and I'm sure he will talk about his work with the recently deceased Amy Winehouse, and the evening will be capped off with a performance by Big Audio Dynamite which I'm almost sure will be supplemented by the Roots. Hands-down, can't beat that - looking forward to it.
Casting News:
"Entourage" creator Doug Ellin has cast Michael Rapaport to star in his new comedy series "40." Ed Burns in also in the ensemble comedy, which revolves around four lifelong friends who help each other navigate life at 40Comedian Charlyne Yi (Knocked Up) has been cast as a new regular on Fox's "House" next season. Does this mean that "House" will become a bit more funny and less dark? There's also the joke that "House" continues on as a series. I know that there are some very talented people working on that show but don't the have enough money yet to branch out and do something a bit more creative? Look at Olivia Wilde who branched out her career and now has her own production company (per our conversation with her), surely there are other similarly driven people there?
