TV Junkie: Thursday Night Is Comedy Night - Even in Summer

Thank goodness Thursdays are consistently the funniest night of programming even through the Summer. Tonight is no exception with excellent episodes of "Wilfred," "Louie," and "Childrens Hospital" - and if you're in the mood for animation you have new "Futurama" and "Ugly Americans." For true comedy fans, you'll want to watch "The Green Room With Paul Provenza" whose guests tonight include Kathy Griffin, Dana Gould, Franklyn Ajaye and our friend Greg Proops - real comics talking about the comic life and how humor works. Please also check out our interview with the incredibly prolific Paul Scheer whose new show, "NTSF:SD:SUV::" premieres tonight on Adult Swim at 12:15am, it's a must-watch. Do you have a favorite among these? If we're missing something, let us know!

HBO's "Entourage" had the premiere event of it's final season this Tuesday in NYC (and HBO sent me an invite but refused my RSVP - the nerve), but HBO was more than happy enough to provide the entire cast and producers to The Hollywood Reporter for a roundtable interview. Recycle any Rodney Dangerfield-type material here for the lack of respect we get here. "Entourage" fans, please enjoy.
