Things are heating up on Thursday nights with Comedy Central's animated lineup of "Futurama" and "Children's Hospital" going up against FX's "Wilfred" and "Louie." Yes, they're very genres of comedy but it can't be denied that this complicates summer viewing a bit as we've got quite an assortment of Emmy and Golden Globe nominated talent presenting the best that they've got. Thankfully Comedy Central and FX repeats these shows to DVR for later viewing. Our pick of the night, however, is definitely "Louie," with its episode entitled Bummer/Blueberries, which has two storylines, both of which are unbelievably funny and definitely adult-oriented.
Please check out our interview with multi-Emmy and multi-SAG award winning Megan Mullally whom you can watch tonight in "Children's Hospital" on Adult Swim at 12:00am aka Midnight.
Proof that TV/Film Production Tax Credits Work: According to a report released by Los Angeles County Economic Development Corp the tax credit has generated more than $3.8 billion in economic output and supported 20,040 jobs -- good for labor income of $1.4 billion -- in the state since being enacted in 2009. Keep it up California. [Thx Deadline!]
Tracy Morgan has again been "caught" saying some tasteless jokes, according to some people, but this time it was at Caroline's Comedy Club in New York City. What Morgan needs to do is get off the road for a while until this hypersensitivity about his act dies down. He's telling jokes in a forum where anything goes but when people who weren't even at the club are able to weigh in on other media and demand apologies, you need to figure out how to turn down the noise.
