TV Junkie: '30 Rock' Hits 100th Episode; 'SoCal Connected' Talks Environment

Tonight NBC celebrates the 100th episode of "30 Rock" with an hour long show. Jack might save the "TGS" from cancellation by allowing Liz and the crew to prove themselves on their 100th episode. Speaking of the human that plays Liz in real life, Tina Fey has been all over the place lately with appearances on "Conan," "The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson" (which was hilarious) and her appearance with Steve Martin at the Nokia Theatre not to mention countless other appearances signing her book, Bossypants. She's somehow managed to keep everything fresh and thus displays another aspect of her talent.

Tangentially related to this, in our most recent Channel Zero podcast we asked Isabella Rossellini about whether or not she'd like to appear again as Jack's ex-wife Bianca in "30 Rock" and she seemed more than amenable to it - hey Tina! Get Isabella back on before Alec Baldwin leaves next year! [Subscribe to Channel Zero on iTunes]
If you don't want to completely lock into NBC's comedy rock block for the night, we suggest you check out locally-produced KCET's "SoCal Connected" which pays tribute to Earth Day in tonight's episode (9pm) by exploring a variety of environmental issues that affect everyone in the LA area.
We were also happy to hear about NBC's renewal of "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" - it was a no-brainer renewal but as it is our go to late night show, we're not sure what we'd do without it.
Fans of "Sons of Anarchy" who also enjoy cabaret singing will want to check out series star, and Golden Globe winner, Katey Sagal singing at MBar in Hollywood tonight at 8pm.
