The steps building up to an amazing season finale for FX's "Justified" continue with tonight's episode at 10pm. This show has been particularly fearless this year and should be commended - some major stuff goes down tonight that you won't want to miss.

Tonight also marks the premiere of ABC's "Happy Endings" and it's not about a massage parlor (but there should be a comedy show set in that venue). Elisha Cuthbert and Damon Wayans Jr. star in the series about a set of friends who have to draw the lines after the featured couple breaks up while at the altar on their wedding day, but we're particularly excited about seeing Casey Wilson back on TV. I met Wilson at a "Saturday Night Live" wrap up party a couple years ago, shortly before she was dropped from the cast.

Wilson's departure from "SNL" was bizarre as she had some great recurring characters there, and from my experience as an audience member, she always got huge laughs. Supposedly she was let go because of "weight issues" which would be complete bullshit as the show should be about talent and not looks alone. With Wilson, "SNL" had someone who was both talented and beautiful but who had a few more curves that could only be twisted into a "weight problem" by an industry as fucked up as the entertainment industry. The "weight" reason to dismiss Wilson can only be true as the current crop of female performers on the show, while talented, pretty much have your currently typical skinny "actress/model/whatever" body type which is not only disappointing but it also limits what the show can do - a big mistake on Lorne Michaels' part. Hey Lorne: Wilson was on Craig Ferguson's show the other night, she was stunning, open your eyes. It's great to have Wilson back on TV now, she does an admirable job on "Happy Endings" which could turn out to be a great show - hopefully ABC will give it some time to build an audience.
