Even Rolling Stone is recognizing some of the comedy podcasts that we religiously listen to, listing Marc Maron's "WTFpod," Chris Hardwick's "The Nerdist," MaximumFun's "Jordan, Jesse, Go!," and Greg Proops' "The Smartest Man In The World." What's missing from the list are:
"The Longshot" (with Eddie Pepitone, Sean Conroy, Jamie Flam, and Amber Kenny), multi-Emmy winner Greg Fitzsimmons' "FitzDogRadio," and, of course, Bill Burr's "Monday Morning Podcast." Thanks for partially getting it right Rolling Stone.
Speaking of comics, we were thrilled to hear news, via Entertainment Weekly, of Fox renewing "Bob's Burgers" which includes in its cast, a couple more of our favorite comics, Eugene Mirmen and Kristen Schaal.
We had thought that only Alec Baldwin would be leaving "30 Rock" next year but Baldwin stated that's when the entire show will close. Baldwin revealed this at a fundraiser in New York on Tuesday night and in an interview with New York magazine on Wednesday but then recanted his statements in a Huffington Post blog on Thursday. Production sources told The Hollywood Reporter Wednesday that there had been no discussions about the show going off the air. WTF dude?!
Glenn Beck's TV show is going off of FoxNews later this year - what other ridiculously demagogic shows need to come off the air?
