We've produced a great new edition of the Channel Zero podcast which includes an interview with comedy and TV legend Tim Conway of "The Carol Burnett Show" and The Apple Dumpling Gang, and Dorf fame. He was super nice and it was fun - listen to the podcast directly here or please consider subscribing on iTunes.

We're very happy to report that FX has renewed "Justified" for another year. You can catch series star Timothy Olyphant was on NPR's "Fresh Air" last night - it's a really great listen despite Terry Gross being there.

Tonight at 10pm ABC launches its Dana Delaney vehicle, "Body of Proof." It's kind of an updated "Quincy" with Delaney in the starring role of coroner Dr. Megan Hunt (I can already tell that dirty jokes are on the way with that name). Delaney is a superb actress, I really love her work, and I've been fortunate enough to meet her in person, she is incredible nice - but I'm not so sure about this show. "Body of Proof" is very flashy and heavily reliant on technology and science to get to the bottom of the mysteries - kind of the opposite to the grittiness that made "Quincy" such a good show. There's also the feeling that this is an answer to "Harry's Law," which, while not a complete bomb, isn't the best received show out there either Nielsen-wise or via the critics.

Also, the journalism organization, ProPublica, has put together an interesting piece outlining that the reality of the coroner's office is anything but high tech and scientifically oriented - coroners are often elected officials with no medical or science backgrounds. For a sneak peek of ABC's "Body of Proof," there is a screener here - also, tonight from 10-11pm ET, Dana Delany and John Carroll Lynch will be Live Tweeting the show!
