Tonight at 10:30pm marks the premiere of Showtime's "The Green Room With Paul Provenza" - a show that will provide some intimate and hilarious insights on the business of comedy. We grew up watching Provenza do his stand-up all over San Francisco as well as hearing him on the radio - he's a man that knows everyone in comedy and knows its history better that just about anybody. Provenza conducts each half-hour episode from the Vanguard in Hollywood with anyone from Drew Carey to Eddie Izzard. Insider comedy talk will be coupled with current events and from what we've seen it looks pretty damn good.
Speaking of comedy, a couple days ago The Hollywood Reporter posted a video roundtable of male comedy actors discussing their craft and now THR has assembled the ladies: Courteney Cox, Felicity Huffman, Jane Lynch, Sofia Vergara, Patricia Heaton, and Wanda Sykes. See the video at the end of this post or read the transcript.
