G4's "Attack of the Show" promises an 'Epic April'

G4's "Attack of the Show" promises an 'Epic April'
G4's "Attack of the Show" is going to be incredible this month. Easily one of our favorite shows, "Attack of the Show" aka @aots has always been an entertaining amalgamation of news, interviews, tech geekery, pop culture, and comedy fronted by the always lovely Olivia Munn and the infinitely capable Kevin Pereira, a guy with legit tech cred as he ran his own ISP company as a teenager and is an active entrepreneur, recently launching a Twitter content aggregator. With regular guests like our friend Chris Hardwick and Chris Gore providing everything from product to video game reviews, always with a humorous component, there really isn't a valid reason to tune into any other news magazine show. Impressively, the hour long show is run live, so if you get the east coast feed, what you see at 4pm Pacific is live action coming from G4's studio on Wilshire. We went to a live broadcast in late January and were amazed at the efficiency, professionalism, and energy that went into what turned out to be a typically entertaining broadcast - a program that the likes of anyone from CNN to NBC would have a hard time coming up with on a good day despite spending exponentially more money on their shows. For the month of April, G4 is promising that "Attack of the Show"'s Epic April will include, but will not be limited to: their famed "420 Special" exploring marijuana culture from Hawaii; a trip to George Lucas's Skywalker Ranch; Olivia Munn's Taco Truck escapades (talking sex and serving up tacos); and a Summer Movie Preview taking an in-depth look at upcoming blockbusters of 2010 as well as regular prize giveaways throughout the month starting tonight with an iPad giveaway.
