The Traffic Sucks Because It's Nice Out
It's still technically winter, but it's hot (again) in Los Angeles and it's close enough to spring that we've all decided to collectively hit the outdoors and enjoy this weather.
Which of course means that the roads heading towards the beaches are jammed with people wanting to show off that swimsuit bod they've been working on all winter.
Why not go on a nice bike ride instead? You won't wind up sitting in your car forever and also get some exercise while you're at it.
Or wait till night falls and it cools down and instead hit a nice outdoor bar to share some drinks with some friends?
Or stay inside and crank the AC (or open a window) and enjoy some indoor activities so you don't get all sweaty?
But if you do get out in the sun, remember to stay hydrated and wear sunscreen. But go easy on the water. We're running out of it.
