Sunset Strip Music Festival Announces Lineup With Jane's Addiction, Empire Of The Sun Headlining

The initial lineup of the 2014 Sunset Strip Music Festival was revealed today, and this year they celebrate the 25th anniversary an L.A. icon with Jane's Addiction performing their debut album Nothing's Shocking in its entirety. The festival will run the weekend of September 20-21.

On the Friday before the weekend festival, Jane's Addiction will be presented with the Elmer Valentine Award, which honors bands and musicians that are tied deeply to the music scene of the Sunset Strip. The invite-only ceremony will be held at the House Of Blues.

Jane's Addiction will headline the Saturday of the festival with their Nothing's Shocking performance, with other shows that day from the likes of Failure, Cold War Kids, and Kaiser Chiefs.

Sunday, the Australian electronic group Empire Of The Sun headline, with the rest of the day packed with performances from Mayer Hawthorne, Big Data, and Big Freedia.

Tickets are available now, starting at $75 for a one-day pass and $125 for a two-day pass.
