There will probably be Star Wars movies coming out every year until the day we die, so hopefully we'll one day get to enjoy directors exploring the universe outside of dealing with the Skywalker lineage or blowing up Death Stars (for the third time). But in the meantime, we have a Skywalker saga to continue! On that front, the official title for Episode VIII has finally been revealed: The Last Jedi.

Not much is known about the movie, which is being directed by the great Rian Johnson (Brick, Looper, several fantastic Breaking Bad episodes) except that it picks up immediately after the end of The Force Awakens, when Rey has finally tracked down Luke Skywalker and handed him his lightsaber. In case you forgot, it was a very dramatic moment.

But this was the best/most timely take:

Star Wars: The Last Jedi Until The Rebirth Of The Jedi In Episode XIV will be released sometime in December 2017. The cast from The Force Awakens will all be back (except for Harrison Ford know...), and will be joined by newcomers to the franchise including Benicio Del Toro, Laura Dern and Kelly Marie Tran.
