The Golden Globes is an awards show that we watch even though (or perhaps because) it lacks both the sobriety and prestige of the upcoming Academy Awards. The red carpet is fun chance to see the worlds of movies and television (and Netflix) commingle. On this year's red carpet, we saw cobalt blue dresses, "Je Suis Charlie" pins and one really gnarly-looking beard.
