Radars To The Sky @ Spaceland, 7/25/08

Truth matters. Community matters. Your support makes both possible. LAist is one of the few places where news remains independent and free from political and corporate influence. Stand up for truth and for LAist. Make your tax-deductible donation now.

Last month, local band Radars To The Sky (MySpace) performed at Spaceland (MySpace) in Silver Lake, opening for The Republic Tigers (MySpace).

As described by Andrew at Amateur Chemist, "Radars To The Sky continues to harness the buzz they built up after wrapping up their successful Echo Residency in April. Spaceland was filling up nicely as the members of Radars To The Sky took the stage. Andrew Spitser (Vocals/Guitars) announced early on that they were without their usual bass player but had some excellent help from members of Death To Anders, The Hectors and the Flying Tourbillon Orchestra."

Also performing that night were The Fieros (MySpace).

Tomorrow, Radars To The Sky opens with The Morning Benders (MySpace) for The Airborne Toxic Event (MySpace) at The El Rey Theatre (MySpace) as part of a sold-out show. They will also be performing on August 23rd at the Sunset Junction Street Festival (MySpace).

Special thanks to The Fieros, Radars To The Sky, and Spaceland.
