It's Happening! Photos From the Writers' Room of "Arrested Development"

Truth matters. Community matters. Your support makes both possible. LAist is one of the few places where news remains independent and free from political and corporate influence. Stand up for truth and for LAist. Make your year-end tax-deductible gift now.

Shooting for the new episodes of "Arrested Development" starts in four weeks star Jason Bateman says, and executive producer Ron Howard has tweeted out a photo of the writer's room to prove it's really happening.

It looks like color-coded post-its are helping the writers keep the intricate, self-referencing and overlapping plot lines for the next season straight. The Atlantic guesses that each character has his or her own color (and Tobias has got to be blue, right?) And creator Mitch Hurwitz looks so happy that he just wants to kiss somebody.

New episodes of the revived series will debut on Netflix in 2013 before coming to the big screen.
