For reasons that are not immediately obvious, John Mayer always seems to land the pop star du jour. And right now Katy Perry seems to have it pretty bad for him.
She admitted to Vogue recently that despite their on-again, off-again status, she was "madly in love with him." Even though they were broken up at the time, she said he had a "beautiful mind" and a "tortured soul." And yes, this is the same guy who once called his dick a "white supremacist" and called Jessica Simpson "sexual napalm."
But now the couple has really crossed the line the line, telegraphing their "on" status via Instagram. Not only was it a cutesy picture of the couple embracing but they were wearing matching Fourth of July outfits. They're officially that insufferable couple.
