Are you worried that the chemicals you're using to turn you into a Oompa Loompa bronzed goddess might not be totally organic? This sign sent into us—spotted in the window of an Atwater Village salon—assures you there's nothing to worry about.
But somehow this only makes it worse. Sunless tanning is supposed to be the healthy alternative to cancer-causing sunshine, but calling it "organic" is just a reminder that there's more to worry about than cancer: Is the spray-tan sustainably-produced? Locally-sourced? Vegan? Gluten-free? Is the "organic" label just another example of federally-sanctioned greenwashing? Did the company use animal testing?
This is why we're stressed, Los Angeles.
