Here's how you get creative when you don't have the tools necessary for the job.
Earlier this month a donkey was reported running loose in the mountains above Malibu, running through the lanes of traffic and delaying people from getting to their meditation sessions at the local ashram, according to a Facebook post from the CHP in West Valley.
"There's no such thing as a routine day on this job!" writes the CHP. An officer managed to track down the rogue animal and put an end to its brief moment of freedom, but didn't have the proper harnesses to rein it in. Handcuffs probably wouldn't suffice, so the officer used his jumper cables to tie it down until the owner could claim the animal.
There have been no further reports of escape by the animal.
