Pets of the Week: Daisy & Ellie

Daisy is a 5-month-old spayed female Pit mix puppy. Happy, energetic and super playful -- that's Daisy! She absolutely loves people and other dogs. She is an outgoing gal with a tail that never stops wagging. She's always up for a good time, and she can't wait to meet you. Please contact CageFree K9 Rescue if you'd like to adopt Daisy.
CageFree K-9 Rescue Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit no-kill all-breed dog rescue group located in Los Angeles dedicated to finding great homes for great dogs. The majority of their rescues come from the many L.A. animal shelters and are screened for temperament and sociability.

Ellie was adopted from the Harbor Shelter in San Pedro about two years ago, but her owner passed away and is now in need of a new home. It may take her a few days to settle into new surroundings, but it won't be long before Ellie's sweet-natured temperament emerges. She is very social, inquisitive and playful, and she really likes toys. This affectionate lap cat will provide companionship for a lucky family for many years to come.
Ellie is available for adoption from Friends of Harbor Animals, a group of independent rescuers working together to find permanent homes for cats, kittens, puppies, dogs and other animals who have found themselves in a shelter or other unfortunate circumstance. All the pets are happy, socialized and healthy and are cared for in private foster homes. Contact Friends of Harbor Animals for more information.
