This week's pets are from Santé D'Or Foundation, an animal rescue group located in Los Feliz. Santé D’Or rescues and provides holistic care and sanctuary to animals, while working to secure them permanent homes.

Ruby is a 5-month-old Beagle looking for a home. Santé D'Or suspects she is a pure-bred Beagle. She loves to play and would love to be an active home that has some knowledge and understanding of the breed. She would be best suited in a home with another dog, preferably a male.

Stella is a gorgeous, six-year-old Tuxedo cat who has a distinct smile and some extra toes: she's a polydactyl! Polydactyls are also known as a Hemingway cats, as the author had many as pets in his Key West FL home. Stella loves resting in her hammock but is alert to all that goes on at the rescue. She loves having her chin scratched and willingly carries on conversations. If you are looking to support Santé D’Or, they are having an adoption event next Sunday in Venice and a screening of A Nightmare Before Christmas at the Vista Theatre on December 8th. Purchase tickets though the Santé D’Or website and a portion of the ticket price benefits the animal rescue.
