Perez Hilton Is a Dad! Announces Birth of Baby Boy on Blog
Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton made a very big announcement on his site today: He's a daddy! The 34-year-old Hilton (nee Mario Armando Lavandeira, Jr.) is now the proud father of a baby boy who was born earlier this month.
The blogger once notorious for outing celebs and making snarky, often offensive, commentary on his site has tamed down in recent years, after he was called out as a bully and decided to tone down his inflammatory language and behavior.
Hilton did not offer any further details about the baby.
Here's what he posted on his site:
"Dear Friends, I want you to hear this directly from me, right here.
I am ready to announce that earlier this month I was blessed with the birth of my first child, a beautiful and healthy baby boy - with lots of hair on his tiny head!
My family is overjoyed at this newest and most cherished addition.
Thank YOU for welcoming PerezHilton.com into your homes, offices, classrooms, cell phones and wherever else you may read my five websites.
And thank you for welcoming ME into your lives!
I am so humbled to welcome this little man into my life. And I am honored and ready for the challenge of guiding him through his.
With love,
Perez"
