Los Angeles Dodgers single-game tickets went on sale at 10 a.m. this morning. Huzzah! If you want to try for seats at the March 31 Opening Day game against World Series champs' San Francisco Giants you will need to haul your cookies over to the acutal Dodger Stadium, not the phone version (1-866-Dodgers) or the online version and get wristbanded with the early birds.

Limited quantities of Opening Day tickets will be available and they historically sell out fast. Notes the Daily News, the majority of the 56,000 Opening Day tickets for are "sold through season and partial-season tickets plans and will continue to be available after Saturday through those plans."

All fans that show up at Dodger Stadium on Saturday and purchase at least one ticket will receive a free fleece blanket. Other Dodger merch -- including new products for 2011 -- will also be on sale. $2 Dodger Dogs, trivia and music in parking Lot P.
