Rapper Nipsey Hussle Arrested Days Before His Scheduled 'Made In America' Appearance
Rapper Nipsey Hussle was arrested on Friday night, just ahead of this weekend's Made In America festival at which the rapper is scheduled to perform.
The LAPD raided Slauson Avenue Clothing on the 3400 block of West Slauson Avenue in Hyde Park last night at 11:30 p.m. Authorities say officers were there on a "probation complaint search," and the man suspect of violating probation had been arrested. Rapper Nipsey Hussle, whose real name is Ermias Ashghedom, was also arrested and charged with obstructing a peace officer, according to NBC 4.
Hussle was also arrested last year at a Trayvon Martin protest in Leimert Park.
Hussle is scheduled to perform at Made In America on Sunday, and tweeted this morning that despite his setback, the shows will go on:
I will be at my show in Reno today and also #MadeInAmericaFestival on Sunday #themarathoncontinues
