'Napoleon Dynamite' Cast Gets Back Together To Unveil Terrible Statue
We’re not sure which is more horrifying—that Napoleon Dynamite is already 10 years old, or that Fox used this ugly-ass statue to commemorate that milestone.Napoleon Dynamite writer and director Jared Hess and star Jon Heder reunited yesterday along with most of the rest of the cast to unveil the bronze monstrosity at the Fox Studios lot on Monday in celebration of the movie's 10th anniversary, according to USA Today. Aaron Ruell (who played Kip) wasn’t there because he possibly might too busy balancing his photography career with suddenly being hot now that he has a beard.
The statute sports a “Vote for Pedro” T-shirt and is holding a tetherball in an attempt to jog our memories about the beloved comedy, but mostly, he looks like a sad child with jaundice. Even Heder looks confused by it:

Heder later Instagrammed a picture of the statue, saying "I feel sorry for the gardener who has to polish the tetherball every couple of years. So much pressure."
