It's certainly a cold one out there, folks. So if you're looking for an excuse to get in out of the weather (or an excuse to hear comedians stand on stage and complain about the weather themselves), consider one of these great shows happening all over town.

MONDAY 1/14
Hot Tub, 7p The Virgil. Kurt Braunohler and Kristen Schaal's great variety show returns to The Virgil tonight with Jon Daly, Paul Scheer, Jonah Ray and Jane Borden.
Pretty, Pretty Pony, 10p Westside Comedy. This long form improv show uses stories from others as a jumping off point for scenes, and they've found a fantastic storyteller in Bobcat Goldthwait this week.
TUESDAY 1/15
Comedy Central Freshman Faces, 8p Westside Comedy. There's a new showcase show in town, and it's got a lot of promising young stand ups on the list, including Karl Hess, Will Weldon, Daryl Wright and others.
Holy F*ck CD Taping, 9p Downtown Independent. The fantastic Holy F*ck show is doing four weeks of CD recording, and they're pulling in great lineups. This week's taping includes TJ Miller, Eric Andre, Hampton Yount, Ron Babcock, Lizzy Cooperman and more.
WEDNESDAY 1/16
The Meltdown, 8:30p NerdMelt Showroom. Kumail Nanjiani and Jonah Ray continue their stand up domination, with a night featuring Karl Hess, Josh Fadem, Kurt Braunohler and Tommy Johnagin.
Comedy Juice, 10p Hollywood Improv. The Improv on Melrose welcomes in a night full of stand ups, including Natasha Leggero.
THURSDAY 1/17
Onassis: Is This the Place?, 8p UCB. One of New York City's premiere sketch groups is legging through the West Coast, and they're stopping at UCB on Franklin for the night. This isn't a show you should miss.
Laugh Bowl Semi-Finals, 10p Laugh Factory. Adam Devine is hosting this stand up battle between some of the best stand ups from UCLA and USC. Choose two of each to go on to the finals!
FRIDAY 1/18
Friday Forty, 7p NerdMelt Showroom. Dave Holmes and Scott Gimple's pop culture game show pits comedians and an audience member against each other, themselves, and 40 ounces of malt liquor.
Peachy Keen, 8p Bar Lubitsch. It's a night of stand up in West Hollywood, with Rob O'Reilly, Rob Gleeson, Joselyn Hughes and more.
SATURDAY 1/19
Matt Braunger & Friends, 8p Hollywood Improv. Braunger is bringing along some stand up pals for a night that's sure to please everyone.
BeerSharkMice, 9p iO West. One of the best long form improv teams in the world reunites for a show on the iO stage.
SUNDAY 1/20
El Show!, 7:30p El Cid. This monthly variety show returns to El Cid with Jon Daly, Jen Kirkman, Sean O'Connor and others.
Shut Up! I Hate You!, 9:30p UCB. Four great comedians (Mike Still, Gil Ozeri, Lauren Lapkus and Jason Mantzoukas) join Anthony King and Kate Spencer for a discussion of the worst in politics and pop culture.
