Fall is almost upon us—we swear. The kids are back in school; people are tearing up the 405. All is as it should be, including this week's slate of incredible comedy shows. Conan O'Brien is doing stuff, Hannibal Buress is around, Chris Hardwick is trying new material and Kevin Pollack is telling stories. Yesssss.

MONDAY 9/10
Comedy Tapioca, 8:30p iO West. They’re starting to wrangle in the stand ups at iO, including Jean Villepique, Theo Von, Karen Kilgariff and more.
Pretty, Pretty Pony, 10:30p Westside Comedy Theater. Kevin Pollack is telling stories to inspire the long form improv out in Santa Monica.
TUESDAY 9/11
The Big Deal, 7:30p Westside Comedy Theater. They’re taping a new comedy show pilot out in Santa Monica, with Natasha Leggero, Greg Fitzsimmons, Kevin Nealon, Brody Stevens and Dana Gould showing up. Should be fun!
Public School, 9p M Bar. This great storytelling show has Alison Agosti, Dan Harmon, James Urbaniak and tons more people.
WEDNESDAY 9/12
Minimum Rage, 8p Comedy Central Stage. Sue Smith tells stories of her bad jobs, worse drug trips and emotional discoveries. You know, it’s that sort of show.
Hannibal Buress, 8p Largo. Buress is doing one set at Largo. So, you know, mark this as important.
THURSDAY 9/13
Mother May I…?, 8p Comedy Central Stage. Great sketch comedy from some of the best, including Drew Droege.
Incubator, 9p NerdMelt Theater. Kyle Kinane and Sean Conroy are bringing you comics with all new material, including Joe Wengert, Leo Allen, Chris Hardwick and Byron Bowers.
FRIDAY 9/14
The Friday Forty, 9p NerdMelt Theater. Dave Holmes and Scott Gimple’s long-running iO variety gameshow (involving 40oz. beers, natch) hits NerdMelt, with Damon Lindelof and Matt Braunger.
Jesse Miller Talk Show, 10:30p Hollywood Improv. One of our favorite shows is back, and always features the hilarious Andre Hyland.
SATURDAY 9/15
Jim Norton, 9p Irvine Improv. Norton is doing a full weekend of great stand up.
Tournament of Nerds, Midnight UCB. Nerds dress up as and defend their characters in a bracket-style tournament for the ages.
SUNDAY 9/16
Rick Overton, Dana Gould & Friends, 7:30p Hollywood Improv. Overton and Gould step out to the Hollywood Improv for a night of stand up with special guests.
By The Way, 8p Largo. Jeff Garlin continues his sit down chat sessions, this time around with Conan O’Brien.
