There's some competitive comedy happening around town this week, but don't worry, everyone still loves each other very much. So much so, in fact, that the Westside Comedy is hosting a love-fest of former Chicago performers. Should be a great time.

What’s Up, Tiger Lily?, 8p Hollywood Studio Bar & Grill. As always, this stand up show delivers, with Blaine Capatch, Dave Koechner, Moshe Kasher, Hampton Yount and more.
Sick Stand Up, 8:30p iO West. iO is getting into the stand up booking game, with a show featuring Joe Wengert, Melisa Villasenor, Dominic Dierkes and others.
TUESDAY 8/7
Magic Meltdown, 8p NerdMelt Theater. We love Justin Willman’s magic / comedy show, and if you haven’t been yet, trust us: you will too.
I’m Your Savior, 8p Comedy Central Stage. Jim Florentine is going to tell you some stories. Some are funny, some are not. Well, most are pretty funny.
WEDNESDAY 8/8
Dasariski, 9:30p UCB. One of the best improv teams in all the land is doing their monthly show at UCB.
Comedy Juice, 10p Hollywood Improv. It’s a night of strong comics, with Dave Koechner headlining, plus Theo Von, Iliza Shlesinger, Brent Weinbach and others.
THURSDAY 8/9
Fairy Tale Theatre, 10p Groundlings. It’s kooky kids lessons with morals meant for adults!
Comedy Olympics, 10p Hollywood Improv. It’s competition stand up time, with comics vying for supremacy in various events: Storytelling, Heckler Handling and a straight Tight 5.
FRIDAY 8/10
Set List, 8p UCB. The popular improvised stand up show moves to UCB for the night.
Class of Chicago Comedy Fest, 10p Westside Comedy. Out in Santa Monica, they’re devoting a weekend to some of Chicago’s best stand ups, storytellers and improvisers.
SATURDAY 8/11
Keith & The Girl LIVE, 8p NerdMelt Theater. It’s a rare live podcast taping, with guests including Dave Holmes, Myq Kaplan, MC. Mr. Napkins and more.
Amy Schumer, 9p Irvine Improv. Schumer is doing a bunch of shows in Irvine all weekend. Look the F out, Orange County.
SUNDAY 8/12
Josh Blue, 7p Brea Improv. Blue is doing a full weekend in Brea. You may know him from his big win a few years ago on Last Comic Standing.
The Mutiny, 10p iO West. One of iO’s newest sketch teams puts up their monthly show.
