Comedy Central Showcase Show, 7:30p Comedy Store Belly Room. Emily Maya Mills and Rob Delaney lead the charge of some great new voices looking to get noticed by Comedy Central.

Melgard Mondays, 9p Melgard Public House. TJ Miller, Eric Andre, Howard Kremer and more are scheduled to drop by ever-growing Melgard show.

TUESDAY 10/4

Marc Maron: The Voice of Something, 7p UCB. Jodi Lennon’s short documentary follows Maron around in NYC has he tries to adjust to life and comedy immediately following 9/11. Maron, Sean Conroy and John Ross Bowie are scheduled for the live show portion as well.

Jesse Miller Talk Show, 8p Comedy Central Stage. Miller (Andre Hyland) is finally getting the stage he deserves, so be sure to get on board for this free show. Scheduled guests include Eric Andre.

WEDNESDAY 10/5

Celebrity Buzz, 8p Comedy Central Stage. MadTV’s Phil LaMarr directs a celebutard-fueled sketch show with Steven Webber, Josh Meyers, Eddie Pepitone, Ron Lynch and a bunch more great folks.

Tim Minchin, 8:30p Largo. Minchin, the Australian musician / comedian export, is at Largo for one night only, so expect tickets to move fast.

THURSDAY 10/6

Mike Birbiglia, 7:30p Bovard Auditorium. Birbigs is at USC, entertaining the kids. Doesn’t mean you can stop by yourself.

National Lampoon’s Twitter Awards, 10p Hollywood Improv. Hosted by pitch-perfect tweeter Eddie Pepitone, National Lampoon is putting on the first annual twitter awards, including crowns for a king and queen!

FRIDAY 10/7

Paul F. Tompkins Special Taping, 8p Alex Theater. Glendale’s Alex Theater is home to PFT’s latest Comedy Central taping, and you can be there!

The Also-Ran Comedy Hour, 10:30p Hollywood Improv Lab. It’s a Halloween SPOOKtacular this month, with such scary characters as Brent ‘Franken’weinbach.

SATURDAY 10/8

Chat!, 8p iO West. Some great iO West performers get conversational with The Living Room, a long form improv style that combines shootin’ the shit with inspired improv scenes.

Skech Cram, Midnight, UCB. The writers write all day, the performers get the scripts a few hours before showtime, and then it’s GOOOOO!

SUNDAY 10/9

Bad Parenting, 7:30p Hollywood Improv. Clara Bijl, Hugh Fink and some other great comics stay up on a school night to tell you everything you ever wanted (or didn’t want) to hear about parenting.

Hollywood Late Night with Rocco, 10p iO West. It’s another ‘Late Night’ comedy talk show; bits, sketches and special guests abound!
