Former Clippers and Lakers player Lamar Odom has taken his first steps since he was hospitalized in October, a source says. Odom, 36, has taken three steps on his own, without the aid of a walker, a source told TMZ. Sources also told the outlet that Odom has been regaining his range of motion in his hands, and that his brain function has been improving. He went from not being able to recognize members of his own family to correctly identifying a hospital employee recently.

A source also told Us Weekly that Odom has been improving daily and should be moved to a rehab facility "any day now."

Odom was found unconscious in October at the Love Ranch South, a brothel in Pahrump, Nevada. The brothel's owner reported finding Odom with a "mucus-type liquid coming out this nose and mouth." Odom suffered several strokes and kidney failure after allegedly taking a large amount of "herbal Viagra" and other drugs.

Odom was a former member of both the Clippers and the Lakers. He has three children with his ex, Liza Morales. He was most recently married to reality star Khloé Kardashian, but the couple was estranged prior to the apparent overdose.
